Pan Seared Salmon @ Insalata's in Marin



The other night I had a lovely dinner at one of my favorite Marin restaurants, Insalata's. This restaurant is especially warm to me because it's where the Rafael's took me on my 16th birthday since my entire family was out of town. 

This time however I had the luxury of a romantic dinner for two, with my mom. Aside from the yummy fatoush salad and pumpkin soup they so elegantly prepared, the pan seared salmon was divine. Not only was presentation a 10, but crisply prepared fish decorated with sunchoke chowder, chanterelle mushrooms, curried hazelnut relish, dill, and sunchoke chips made this dish exquisite.

If you're ever craving a decadently prepared pan seared salmon, I recommend this dish.
