Chicken Fried Steak with Grits @ Grub in Queen Anne

About a month ago, my buddy Nathan and I grabbed brunch at a new spot Grub. The simplicity of this restaurant at the top of Queen Anne echoes a Black Bottle-esque decor with small wooden tables each fitted with two chairs or a chair and bench along the perimeter. The room is small but no cluttered with big windows for ample natural light on those beautiful summer days. The special that day was the chicken fried steak with grits, sweet potatoes and two eggs any style (I went with my favorite, poached). After 5 years in Atlanta, I am qualified to judge fried food smothered in grits, "You never heard of grits?" So we both ordered the special. This was the best chicken fried steak with grits I've ever eaten. Next time this dish comes back in the menu I highly recommend ordering it.
